Women's Collection Research Coordinator
-Responsible for the administrative, organizational and clerical organization of the design room. -Responsible to assist the Women's Collection team for the overall research and coordination of fabrics, trims and embroidery for NY Collection -General assistance to Fabric Director for the organization and sourcing of fabrics for each collection -Assist the fabric director in the organization of fabrics, linings and trims for each collection -Responsible for sourcing new ideas for trim, buttons ahead of schedule before beginning of each season -Attend PV with Milan office for further research each season -Keep record for all seasonal developments -Work with Senior designers on all development of new ideas (Buttons, buckles, trims, fabric manipulation ) and do the follow up -Responsible for keeping track of sample development budgets -Keep track record for cut of dates / in regards to ordering trims coordinate all print, pleating and embellishments executed in US for collections -Responsible for over dying fabrics for collections in US -Coordinate all print development with consultants and Designers -Source Fabrics locally for NY runway -Assists Fabric Director with identifying fabrics at local stores and physically bringing fabric rolls back to the design studio
