VP, Strategic Marketing/Partnership
The VP, Strategic Marketing and Partnership (SMAP) oversees all aspects of strategic partnerships, events and trade efforts. Works closely with sales management to understand financial targets, and goals to effectively develop marketing programs that drive revenue. Meets with clients as needed to discuss the marketplace or sell-in marketing programs. Meets with ad sales regularly to understand marketplace challenges and opportunities. Collaborates with ad sales to communicate CN/AS creative brand objectives and help insure marketing partnerships benefit brand. Collaborates with heads of marketing for CN/AS as needed to ensure brand initiatives are supported by sales where possible. Collaborates with SVP of On-Air and SVP Adult Swim to ensure partnership programs and campaigns support and protect the network s brands and objectives. Leads internal Agency team and makes sure all are up to date and aware of current CN/AS brand and division objectives. Works closely with the senior executive team to develop Upfront strategies. Maintains and executes 3rd party marketing partnership initiatives, such as major league sports partners, movie studios, and others to develop mutually beneficial marketing programs.
