About the Job:
Reporting to the CEO, you are the Marketing visionary who will define and develop the worldwide marketing strategies, programs and PR for Taulia. In this role you will design, execute and manage the company’s marketing plan to include: overall company branding, core “go to” market messaging, lead generation campaigns, customer campaigns, trade shows, webinars, partner marketing, web marketing and PR. Your core responsibility will be capturing the attention of key stakeholders in the market to help grow a qualified marketing funnel that can be nurtured and converted into true pipeline growth and qualified sales leads. The ideal candidate is hands-on, able to communicate Taulia’s value proposition in creative ways and a believer in continuous measurement of the effectiveness of all demand generation activities for further optimization. You have extensive experience and a successful track record in marketing B2B enterprise software.
Responsibilities:
Develop, manage and execute on Marketing Plan and Budget:
Develop a comprehensive, multi-dimensional marketing plan that further builds brand awareness, establishes Taulia as the leading Dynamic Discounting solution provider, maximizes pipeline growth and furthers deal nurturing
Manage the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns
Build, lead and inspire the Marketing team:
Hire top marketing professionals & interns and form them into a great team
Lead, direct and inspire the marketing team
Effectively collaborate and partner with Senior Management, Sales and Product
Develop, plan and execute on Lead Generation:
Create innovative lead generation and advanced nurturing campaigns
Conceive and execute webinars with cutting-edge innovative content
Optimize Taulia’s web presence and online marketing
Orchestrate Taulia’s trade show presence, industry events & keynote speaker engagements
Partner with VP of Sales to execute and align on key field marketing activities
Cultivate customer references— lead efforts to engage customer in our customer advisory board, recruit customer references, expand catalogue of success stories, and engage customers in demand generation activities
Develop compelling content and collateral (white papers, infographics, etc.) which effectively engages prospects, while leveraging Taulia’s vast body of expertise and data
Collaborate with our key partners to develop joint-marketing plans to sell our solutions worldwide
Manage and support pipeline growth with the sales team
Thoroughly measure and report on all of the above
Social Media:
Define and execute Taulia’s social media strategy with the aim to help us connect to our customers (buyers and suppliers) as well as key influencers
Manage Taulia’s blog, Facebook, LinkedIn pages, and Twitter accounts
Monitor social media and identify opportunities for Taulia to engage
PR:
Develop a comprehensive, multi-dimensional PR plan to increase overall brand awareness of Taulia. Plan includes: thought leadership programs, product launches, and innovation releases
Build relationships with industry press, bloggers, and influencers in the industry
Provide Taulia’s external PR agency with strategic direction as well as executional guidance
Serve as Agency’s primary contact
Provide leadership in messaging development and brand positioning
Requirements:
Minimum 8+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS/enterprise software marketing role
Experience, and a successful track record, in developing, implementing and optimizing lead generation programs across a wide range of marketing channels
Ability to develop compelling messaging for Taulia’s value proposition and to communicate that consistently across all channels
Strong writing, storytelling and (public) presentation skills utilizing PowerPoint and other media
Creative and innovative thinker with a “can do” attitude, proactive problem solving skills and a willingness to be held accountable for results
Proficiency with Marketo and Salesforce
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well with customers & prospects, Taulia cross-functional team (Sales, Product, Demand generation, C-level), and able to effectively direct (external) PR agency and junior marketing staff
Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment leveraging project management skills and strong attention to detail
Nice to Have:
Start-up experience is a huge plus
Prior experience in the realms of SAP or Finance & Treasury
