Vice President, Marketing
Job Description:
Wireless Generation is seeking a creative and broadly experienced Marketing executive to oversee all aspects of corporate and product marketing for the company. The ideal candidate will bring experience within the K-12 educational and technology market and will have an extensive track record successfully overseeing strategy and execution with respect to corporate identity; product positioning; and product marketing utilizing a range of direct and indirect channels.
Requirements of Vice President, Marketing:
BA/BS degree, MBA preferred
15+ years of experience in product marketing with at least 3 years at the executive level; 2+ years in K-12 education preferred but not strictly required.
Significant experience leading marketing in a B2B context
Significant experience, and proven success, blending a broad range of channels in an integrated marketing program – e.g., print advertising, online, direct email, trade show, product collateral, effectiveness research/whitepaper publication, event sponsorship.
Experience marketing to public sector buyers a plus
Demonstrated ability to build consensus among disparate stakeholders while providing guidance and leadership
Outstanding communication skills
Extremely strong strategic planning and resource allocation skills
Proven excellence managing, motivating, and developing mid-level staff
