RELATIONSHIP: This position reports to the Group Vice President, Finance & Treasurer.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
The Vice President of Financial Planning and Treasury will have primary responsibility for weekly, monthly, annual and longer term financial planning and forecasting as well as the management of Treasury operations. This person will be viewed as a strategic partner with the Company’s cross functional finance leaders and also senior level executives. He/she will have responsibility for critical finance functions including but not be limited to: long term financial planning, annual budgeting processes, weekly, monthly and annual forecasting functions, investor relations analysis, liquidity management and forecasting, share repurchase program, debt maintenance, investment portfolio management, import financing and store level cash management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ten plus years experience within the finance function of a billion dollar company. Three to five years experience of directly managing financial statements of a billion dollar company.
Has overseen the budgeting, forecasting, and long term planning processes for at least three years for a billion dollar division or a billion dollar corporation.
Demonstrated ability to structure work and analysis to influence senior management and set company direction.
Results focused with at least five years experience conceiving ideas that have resulted in significant profitability improvements to their business.
Five years experience improving accuracy, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of processes throughout all functionalities of the business.
Superior leadership abilities and has led a team of ten to 15 with at least two direct reports.
EDUCATION
An analytical undergraduate degree is required (e.g., finance, economics, accounting or
engineering). An MBA or other relevant degree is preferred.
