The Bosch Automotive Aftermarket Division markets a wide variety automotive parts and diagnostic service equipment through service dealers, and independent automotive retailers and specialty aftermarket distributors. Products include spark plugs, wiper blades, filters, alternators, starters, gasoline and diesel fuel injection components and more. The division is committed to developing innovative products to ensure that motorists get premium performance products to keep their vehicles running like new. Job Description : POSITION WILL BE BASED IN YORK PENNSYLVANIA!!!!!!!!!! 1) Provide technical and operational guidance via telephone and/or email to customers for all products distributed by RTI Technologies. 2) Assist RTI Service Center Technicians during warranty and non- warranty troubleshooting and repair of RTI equipment. 3) Enter comprehensive, pertinent data and information into the computer-based Customer Service database. 4) Enter orders for service parts from customers and Service Centers into the MRP system. 5) Prepare and distribute technical documentation and sales literature to customers and Service Centers as required for RTI product support. 6) Participate as an instructor during training seminars held at RTI for Service Center technicians. 7) Assist with special engineering projects during new product development and improvement. 8) Interface with production, engineering, quality assurance, and other departments as necessary to resolve issues communicated from the field. Job Requirements : 1) One- or Two-year degree in automotive or electrical technology, or equivalent experience. 2) Two or more years experience in a technical support or customer service role in a technical product environment. 3) Excellent organizational, written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills. 4) Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and resolve issues to mutual satisfaction. 5) Good personal computer skills, including data entry and familiarity with MS Office. 6) Ability to understand and interpret electrical and mechanical/schematic diagrams. 7) Strong customer service orientation, with demonstrated excellent work ethic. 8) Automotive background, including hands-on service experience, a definite plus. 9) Proficiency in a second or third language a definite plus.
