Technical Sales Representative 



Job description


 


This employee will be an outside sales rep responsible for a geographic territory in Atlanta and surrounding areas.  He/she will assume responsibility for a number of established accounts (25% of time) as well as be responsible for generating new Pomeroy customers (75% of time).

1 Achieve assigned business objectives (product and services revenue and GP targets)
2. Represent Pomeroy product and product-related services to assigned set of customers/geography
3. Engage appropriate company and customer resources to exploit alignment of Pomeroy's offerings to customer's IT initiatives
4. Identify additional customer prospects based on previous in-geography experience and represent Pomeroy solutions to achieve assigned business objectives
5. Build territory coverage plans by account to align with achievement of assigned business objectives
6. Build local OEM relationships to leverage within assigned territory resulting in lead sharing, account mapping, territory planning and event-driven demand generation 


 
Job requirements


 


• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred; High School Diploma required;.


• 5-7 Years of Sales Experience in direct or indirect model


• Hardware and related services sales experience
• Strong familiarity with corporate IT infrastructure.


• Proven multi-year track record of success within the territory or geography.
• Goal oriented “can-do" attitude with the ability to be aggressive and persistent.
• Enjoy a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with a highly motivated professional sales team.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills are critical.
