AmazonLocal is a recently launched daily deals marketplace offering customers savings of up to 75 percent off products and services at restaurants, spas, events and more. This new business within Amazon offers a creative, fast paced, entrepreneurial work environment where you'll be at the center of Amazon innovation. We are looking for a Subscriber Activation Manager to drive initial and repeat customer engagement, and increase each subscribers lifetime value (LTV).
The successful candidate will be able to encourage subscribers to engage with AmazonLocal, through awareness building, promotional activity and developing a stronger long-term relationship with our customers. They will be able to increase subscriber activation rate and purchase frequency. The candidate will drive simultaneous campaigns across multiple regions, and will be knowledgeable in test and measurement methods for consumer promotional activity. The ideal candidate will communicate well across product, operations, and development. They will be able to come up with creative ideas and dig into the details to drive results. They will work well with internal and external resources, and understand the business and legal impact of their campaigns. The Subscriber Activation Manager will plan and schedule promotional campaigns across all our delivery channels, analyze metrics, course correct based on data and report on subscriber activation performance. The candidate will be detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, able to take direction, capable of dealing with ambiguity, and comfortable working with teams, vendors, and management.
Responsibilities:
Develop creative email campaigns to encourage subscriber engagement and increase purchase frequency
Plan, coordinate and execute online and offline subscriber activation promotions initiatives for AmazonLocal
Analyze performance of campaigns, always seeking ways to improve
Work with suppliers and merchants to create on-brand, best-in-class content
Generate excitement and buzz among AmazonLocal subscribers
Analyze promotional activity and optimize for seasonality, relevance, and subscriber types
Drive product improvements to completion by coordinating with project managers, web developers, buyers, designers, and other merchandisers.
3+ years experience in online and offline consumer promotions
Bachelor's degree
MBA
5+ years experience in online and offline consumer promotions
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Experience creating customer promotional campaigns that are on-brand, relevant, and tailored to the target audience
Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Aptitude for organization
Experience managing and analyzing large amounts of data
Experience with online and bricks-and-mortar retailing
Understanding and use of web metrics and how to gauge
