Sr. Project Manager
Description
Responsible for designing and executing state government channel strategies, understanding of contract terms and conditions and creating product adoption / marketing programs to enhance the productivity, revenues, and profitability of state contracts. Redesigns channel marketing programs and processes to provide added value and to optimize channel effectiveness. Requires advanced knowledge of selling and marketing into state government agencies. Applies advanced principles, theories and concepts. This position is viewed as an expert within government procurement and demonstrates channel marketing strategies and execution discipline. Responsible for the following tasks:
1. Research and document State, County and City Procurement laws / processes to better enable AT&T to add / market AT&T solutions via Government Contract vehicles
2. Work with Product Management and other AT&T org.s to insure that AT&T services / support match Government procurement requirements, terms and conditions
3. Create marketing programs to advance AT&T solutions through State Procurement channels, events, agencies
4. Research Grants for State and Local Government, Agencies and Public Safety to identify which Grants have a technology / telecommunications component, who is eligible for the Grant, Grant purpose, deadlines, et al
5. Develop a marketing program for AT&T Government sellers / customers that connects AT&T solutions to each identified Grant.
6. Research State Budget intelligence and create financial profiles for each state to understand current and future fiscal outlooks.
Skills:
1. 3 to 5 years experience in State and / or Local Government
2. 1 to 3 years industry knowledge with grants and / or Government procurement
3. High level of proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel
4. Not required but experience with Publisher or other design software is a plus
5. 3 to 5 years writing, communication and presentation experience
Prefer 3 years or more experience developing marketing campaigns or a combination of marketing communications, media & publication, public relations and / or public sector industry association experience
These positions will be full time for approximatelyu 6 months but could be extended and is not associated with any FED GOV contract.
