Job Summary The Common Business and Application Infrastructure Services Developer designs, develops, tests and delivers business services that will be accessed by multiple business applications. These services will become part of a core set of centralized services delivering value to the business applications accessing them. The Common Services Developer is an experienced developer with good communication skills and works with the Business application developers to implement core services such as, an Asset location service that could be leveraged by multiple business applications when developing the interface to the business users.
Job Description Participate in the implementation, and production support of Common Business Services, Common Application Infrastructure components. Translate business and functional requirements into design specifications. Develop application services utilizing the Eclipse IDE and/or Visual Studio. Create unit tests utilizing standard testing frameworks. Participate in and/or Lead Agile Development ""sprints"". Create design documentation utilizing UML or standard ICD's as needed. Ensures quality of solution by participating in System and Integration testing.
Required Skills Good written and oral presentation skills, work well within a team environment. Technical toolset. Object Oriented Analysis & Design. Java and/or .NET Enterprise application development. Database programming utilizing SQL or Stored Procedures. Eclipse IDE - design, develop, debug, testing. Web Services development utilizing standard frameworks (Jax-RS/WS, Spring, CXF). Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts. Experience with XML related technologies such as USLT, XSD, JAXB. Frameworks and tool like Spring, Hibernate, Maven, JUnit and Log4J.
