Description
DescriptionThe Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for brand management and sales of the G Series Pro line of premium products in the sports nutrition channel. The key responsibilities include:- Managing account relationships with key customers, including sports nutrition retailers and fitness centers/gyms- Developing and leading account presentations to ensure customer understanding of new product lines and sales plans- Negotiating and developing contracts with key customers/accounts- Managing all aspects of the agency relationships to ensure that nationwide in-store merchandising and marketing programs are successfully executed at the store level-The individual will have a keen understanding of sports performance trends and athlete performance needs with the ability to apply this knowledge to the sports nutrition marketplace. Requirements:
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree required, advanced degree preferred - Minimum of 10 years marketing, sales, product development, and management experience: - Experience within the sports, fitness and/or sports science industry preferred. - Demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate relationships, build consensus and influence business partners and key customers - Ability to lead and work within team environment - Excellent multi-tasking, project management and prioritization skills - Strong conceptual and strategic thinker - Creative skills with the ability to problem solve, seek alternative solutions to job tasks and generate fresh ideas. - Strong interpersonal skills, including both tact and positioning. - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail - Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
