Sr Manager, Consumer Cross-Sell
Your Mission: To get lots of consumers to choose lots of PayPal's products and offerings. You are the consumer marketing lead who will partner with key business stakeholders to develop comprehensive marketing plans that meet both consumer and stakeholder goals.
In your role you will develop a deep understanding of PayPal's consumer segments and the different products and services that PayPal has to offer. You will champion the development of marketing plans that cross-sell the right products and services to the consumers that are most likely to choose them.
As a leader on the North America Consumer Marketing team, you have proven experience in driving consumers to choose and use new offerings. You excel working cross-functionally with both internal and external partners. Your marketing plans inspire consumers to change behavior and you consistently have data to prove it.
Job Responsibilities:
Establish the criteria for evaluating and prioritizing cross-sell opportunities (e.g. POS, Credit, Pre-Paid, Cross-Border, Mobile, Digital Goods, Student Account, etc) to drive greater consumer engagement
Partner with internal/external stakeholders to cross-sell offerings based on your deep understanding of consumers and the unique value prop/business goals associated with that offering
Lead marketing strategy development, learning agenda, and test plan spanning across consumer segments and channels
Sell-in marketing strategy to business owner(s) and align cross-functional stakeholders on goals and support needed for execution
Be accountable for performance against marketing plan and test/revise as necessary
10+ years of marketing experience in Consumer Marketing roles with the ability to understand products and new technology
Act independently to define and manage complex projects that measurably drive business results and/or have a clear learning agenda
Experience defining, developing, and executing successful multi-channel, integrated marketing plans with consistent positioning, messaging across all channels
Experience with key marketing channels (email, 3rd party partners, web, call center, mobile, internet, social media, etc ) and familiarity with marketing channel effectiveness in driving specific customer behavior changes
Embody a test, measure, and iterate mentality; comfortable taking calculated risk
Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
Thrive in a fast paced and unstructured environment
Capable of identifying and developing talent and building out a team
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. MBA or equivalent work experience preferred
Work experience in best-in-class consumer or financial services brands highly desirable
