Sr. Director of Marketing
Our client is a dynamic, diversified organization with outstanding financial strength and a broad range of product offerings in the areas of tax, money movement, and employment-related services.
Our client is a leader in electronic invoicing and procure-to-pay (P2P) solutions. Our clients system simplifies all of the many P2P functions required in the modern supply chain, from purchase order integration and transaction processing to discount management, price compliance, approvals workflow and payment. The Product Marketing Senior Director will manage the various P2P offerings and the evolution of those products in the market.
Responsibilities include:
Manage, develop, and ensure achievement of strategic revenue objectives for specific and significant product(s) or product line(s), including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, packaging/bundling, pricing, value proposition, and ROI.
Monitors the development of business plans, managing lifecycles, competitive differentiation and product positioning in the marketplace.
Reduces broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans.
With the assistance from both the General Manager and Vice President of Marketing, determines overall product(s) marketing objectives, which include: identifying, developing, and implementing effective and productive product marketing strategies and plans.
Teams with Market Research, monitors competitive activities, and identifies customer needs.
Interacts with sales, clients, industry analysts and strategic business partners.
Leads new product definition and business plans under the direction of the Vice President of Marketing.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelors Degree in Business or related field. Graduate Degree (MBA) a strong plus. 7-10 years of business experience; 3-5 years of product marketing experience, preferably in the financial industry. Extensive experience in handling complex marketing issues and/or products. Experience in working with partners and operations on product roadmap requirements, meeting client expectations, and competitive analysis. Experience in the financial services or procurement areas highly preferred. Solid project management and excellent communications skills required.
