Sr. CyberSecurity Consultant
Guidance Software is seeking CyberSecurity Consultants for multiple areas. This is a direct hire full time position, with base + bonus plan + Equity.
LOCATION: Los Angeles CA or New York NY
TRAVEL: 80% within the assigned area
SUMMARY:
The Sr. Cyber Security Consultant will have proven his/her skills in managing Incident Response, Information assurance, and data loss prevention matters. The CyberSecurity Consultant will be a subject matter expert in the full lifecycle of Cyber Security Services from IT Security program development and implementation to Computer Security Incident response capability (CSIRC) support. The CyberSecurity Consultant will also perform in depth analysis of our clients privacy programs.
Essential Functions:
Client Management including actively consulting with clients on best practices and CyberSecurity solutions and managing expectations.
Project Management which includes providing flexible strategies, creating deliverables in professional structure and providing detailed reports depicting the overall services provided.
Planning client engagements and deliverable strategies along with resolving any internal department conflicts and identifying risks areas along with providing a proper solution.
Essential Requirements:
Proven lead consulting on large CyberSecurity matters from start to finish with little to no assistance needed to ensure success
Provide mentoring to other consultants in the field of CyberSecurity
Assist with client relations issues by providing a positive solution to their needs
Ability to provide expert client consulting on various methods to met the clients’ needs
An in-depth knowledge of the Company’s products
Serve as primary contact for the client and provide professional, timely communication between client and the eDiscovery Business Managers, the eDiscovery Services team and partners.
Create a strategy for successful project implementation.
Track and monitor all project activity and update project plans as required.
Coordinate with the CyberSecurity team and partners to allow maximum efficiency and to ensure timely delivery with quality standards.
Prepare status reports on a regular basis for clients.
Provide all project documentation, archive all appropriate records and monitor compliance requirements to ensure consistent, high quality work.
At least two years experience in the electronic discovery industry, preferably as a project manager in a legal, litigation support, or paralegal field with knowledge of the litigation discovery practices and electronic data production
Solid knowledge of the CyberSecurity project lifecycle
Superior organization and follow-up skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Effective interpersonal skills
Creative problem solver
Ability to explain technical information using layman’s terms
Ability to travel Regionally up to 75%
Desired Skills:
University level degree in business or other related subject
CISSP
CISM
CISA
Professional Project Management Certification, i.e. PMP
Project Management certification
