Baltimore Aircoil Company (BAC) is the industry leading manufacturer of heat transfer equipment. We are a 100% employee-owned global organization headquartered near Baltimore, Maryland. Our New York location is in search of a Senior Sales Engineer to provide high level sales to major engineering firms and customers in New York City.
The purpose of this position is to develop relationships with firms and have BAC as the specified equipment provider. Leveraging relationships to ensure projects are completed to customer's satisfaction. Requires excellent technical, organizational, communication, and customer problem resolution skills. Requires the ability to interact with many different types of individuals, including executives, engineers, analysts, and other business professionals. Must have self-confidence and self-reliance. Must have the ability to effectively communicate ideas as well as properly describe problems and solutions. A broad background and general knowledge of technical, administrative, and financial areas and an expert level understanding of related terms and business processes is essential. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsible for outside sales of all products represented to a predetermined account list of engineering firms, contractors, and building owners.
Responsible for the design, support, marketing and educational modules to consulting engineers. Trade group participation will be required as well. (ASHRAE)
Responsible for proposal preparation of projects from engineering firms.
Maintains existing relationships and develops new relationships with engineering firms and contractors.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or other engineering discipline
Five (5) years minimum sales experience in HVAC field
Five (5) years minimum sales experience to the engineering and contracting community in NYC
Critical thinking, reasoning, and problem solving ability are an essential
Strong professional presence and self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and the ability to make presentations to all levels of organizations
Requires ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and prioritize by their importance
This person will represent BAC in a sales capacity and will be required to travel in the NYC metro area to attend meetings, prepare and deliver technical and commercial presentations. This person will have interaction with all levels at Corporate Headquarters.
