Job Description
Product Marketing Manager will drive the Projector Product Line from cradle to grave!
Our Product Marketing Managers work very closely with our OEM manufacturers through our Business Unit to manage products through their complete product life cycle by direct participation and leadership in all cross functional activities. This dynamic, creative, analytical marketing leader will be responsible for:
Recommending pricing and program strategies for all current and new products to ensure their competitiveness within the market. Concurrently, monitor the products gross margins and insure the product is meeting the company’s financial and or strategic expectations.
The daily review and recommendation for change or success of assigned products based on market analysis.
Develop and implement the strategies and tactics to ensure the product line success in its targeted market.
Recommend new product opportunities through market analysis and “Voice of Customer” research.
Keeps abreast of industry trends, competitive moves, and development trends for the purpose of enhancing overall market knowledge.
Drives the development of market launch strategies, product positioning statements, functional specifications, ad copy, WEB information, sales training information, and insure they are disseminated to the appropriate parties.
Fully responsible to develop and be able to present the business strategy for assigned products.
Will oversee products to a multitude of publications and mass media editorial product opportunities and in doing so will build an on-going business relationship with the most influential editors within the product area and business marketplace.
Desired Skills & Experience
This self motivated creative individual should have many years experience in leading projector product line to market. Must be analytically inclined with experience in "classical" marketing and long term strategic planning with new market distribution channels. Additional experience in marketing and sales in the distribution channel programs and pricing. Must have an understanding of the functions related to projectors.
We would prefer an individual with a BS degree or equivalent experience plus a minimum 2 years work experience as a product marketing manager managing the projector business PLUS 3 years product marketing management work experience working with other consumer electronic products and channels
