Senior Product Manager
We are looking for an experienced professional to join the Core Payments Product team. The role would be responsible for managing mix of financial instruments in the PayPal wallet and for creating a suite of innovative PayPal loan products offering the Consumer different options to pay for their purchae. The Product suite includes online loan products, credit, installments across numerous channels such as internet, mobile and retail.
Develop and implement strategies for innovative financial instruments such as loans and installments .
Lead development of product in consultation with external product teams and internal stakeholders such as user Interface Design, Engineering and Project Management.
Develop and enhance product analytics to track and manage Product performance relative to client and customer goals.
Conduct complex analysis, including business metrics, portfolio level performance, market trends, segment penetration, customer behavioral profiles and competitive product assessment to identify gaps and opportunities.
Drive product research efforts and be accountable for overall Product quality.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert to all cross-functional groups.
Basic Qualifications Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field 7+ years working in, Financial or Payments environment Proven product management experience with demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies to deliver measurable business results. Knowledge of prepaid products and economic flow in the value chain. General understanding back-office payment processing, Clearing, Settlement, and Reconciliation principles. Analytical and fact-based approach with the ability to organize and synthesize data and information. Flexible and creative thinker with the ability to define business tradeoffs, generate out-of-the-box solutions and manage uncertainty. Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively. Education Masters Degree or Equivalent
