Ideal candidates will have the appropriate skills and knowledge to successfully define and build a marketing function within the organization. This individual will be a strategic thinker with the ability to balance strategic vision with tactical needs as well as work within an ever-changing start-up environment.

Responsibilities Include:

• Implement a qualified lead generation program that can be utilized across targeted verticals. This includes developing and administering a lead database which contains client and prospect information, lead generation lists, access to contact information and financial data
• Lead agencies and internal team members where appropriate to execute all communication activities and public relations (marketing materials, advertising, client communications, direct mail, marketing campaigns, press releases, content for trade publications, etc.).
• Organize and lead all PR, tradeshow & event functions
• Perform research to identify key conferences and trade shows and to maximize visibility at conferences, including compiling a list of products and literature to display/demo, producing delegate inserts, etc.
• Manage media relations, research editorial opportunities and build relationships with key industry media.
• Define and create the needed sales collateral for each target vertical.  Examples would be producing pitch decks, elegant product demonstrations & one-sheeters. 
• Help position the product within each targeted vertical.  This includes necessary messaging, key selling points and competitive analysis
• Understand the competitive landscape and utilize the data to help shape the product 
• Write and edit white papers & case studies to generate interest for products and services.
• Conduct ongoing sales training as well as initial training when launching new product offerings and verticals to ensure key messages are delivered to the field
• Maintain and modify the corporate website so that it reflects the company messaging and can be used as a sales tool
