Senior Manager, Shopper Marketing
Kellogg's has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Shopper Marketing; East-AHOLD/Wakefern located in Philadelphia, PA.
This role is responsible for proactively building efficient, profitable, sales and share growth through Shopper Marketing platforms/campaigns and promotional programs/events tailored for priority customers in the East Region. This individual will lead the development of shopper insight-driven solutions that integrate our category and brand equity & business objectives with those of priority Customers to satisfy the needs of targeted shoppers and enhance their shopping experience. These programs/plans will focus on commercializing cutting edge shopper marketing insights to lead implementation of shopper-centric strategies (e.g. in-and out-of-store communications, navigation, aisle and shelf solutions, etc.). Role must synchronize Kellogg and Customer strategies, negotiation with Customers to develop campaigns and programs, and align Kellogg Marketing and Sales resources to deliver. Role will set/align shopper marketing priorities at the focus Customers (Ahold & Wakefern), create annual plans to deliver and lead the execution .
Responsibilities are the following but not limited to:
-This role is responsible for selling ideas, platforms and events to Customers’ marketing organizations, for developing in-depth knowledge of the Customers’ marketing strategies. - Owns developing relationships with Customers’ marketing leadership, and contributing to alignment across marketing and merchandising. - The role provides a level of insight and influence at senior marketing and sales levels to ensure that all in-store efforts are well-grounded in shopper/consumer knowledge. - Drives thought leadership among in-store sales teams to uncover shopper/consumer insights that lead to effective in-store Brand building ideas and programs that drive GSV. - Leads initiatives to increase shopper/consumer knowledge and build brand strength that will be leveraged within the in-store experience at supported accounts. - Partners early and drives proactive, targeted programs consistent with brand strategies, national promotions, Customer Marketing platforms - Development and implementation of all strategic shopper marketing strategies through Customer Team and retailer collaboration to help deliver total business plans for customer group. KUSA events which include MF, SN, FF Business unit knowledge of Brands and promotions. - In-direct management of sales planning, sales strategy, consumer marketing and outside promotional agencies. - Works with Sales and Marketing leadership to provide input concerning the development of customer sales strategies, and leveraging/influencing category promotion strategies.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Requirements: Bachelors of Arts / Bachelors of Science Degree Required -6-8 years sales and/or marketing, preferably in consumer products. -At least 3 years brand marketing, customer marketing, shopper marketing, market research, shopper insights and/or category management experience. -1 year experience working with AHOLD/Wakefern marketing or sales. -Must have strong strategic, conceptual thinking, financial, analytical, drive for results, selling & negotiating skills. -Must have the ability to manage many projects, and be strategic thinker with strong leadership skills.
