Overview:
The Senior Image Specialist performs a variety of image tasks including retouching, color correction, archiving and naming images, image output and more.
Key Accountabilities:
Image retouching including removing imperfections, correcting color and creating composite images.
Working autonomously while retouching to achieve desired critical image quality of in-house photography.
Reviewing vendor-provided images against quality standards and determining viability for use online.
Preparing, naming and filing images according to production specifications.
Managing direct reports.
Partnering with account executive team to build project schedules and consistently meeting established deadlines.
Maintaining a photography archive accessible to the entire creative team.
Ensure all images are properly optimized and sent to the website.
Skills Summary:
Highly motivated self-starter
4 years of retouching experience in a digital print and/or web environment.
Experience in retail is a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail.
The ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Previous management experience desirable.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to adapt to change willingly.
Strong verbal and written business communication skills.
Advanced-level proficiency in Photoshop, File Maker Pro and Excel
Familiarity with Illustrator and InDesign is a plus.
Understanding of color management.
Ability to learn new technology.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work with a variety of imagery including women's and men's apparel, home goods, shoes and accessories, jewelry and more.
Interest and knowledge of fashion a plus.
