VISION: Expanding and profitable consumer product business is looking for a Senior Brand Manager with a GM mentality.
Be empowered to drive brand(s) with $65-$70M in revenues. Support existing marketing efforts and identify opportunities to expand brand offerings and drive marketing programs. 2012 has yielded double digit growth.
OPPORTUNITY: This is a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment where one needs to be responsible for all functionality and balance internal and external resources. Collaborate with SVP Sales and SVP Supply Chain; be a business partner to product development, supply chain, distributors, and mass merchandisers (i.e. Walgreen, Wal-Mart, Target, CVS). Be responsible for development and execution of marketing initiatives in support of long term brand strategies and delivering against the financial goals for each brand. This will include brand’s pricing, packaging, trade merchandising, advertising and promotion strategies and budget. Be direct involved in business development and account management strategies.
P&L Management: Lead and forecast revenue, profit, and market share goals of brands. Lead all sales and marketing activities. This is a hands-on, player coach role while building infrastructure and revenues.
Brand Planning & Execution: Identify new market opportunities and create actionable programs to grow the business. Must be able to work collaboratively with agencies/vendors and internal resources to deliver results on new product launches, marketing programs, advertising, promotions, research, and public relations.
New Products: Partner with new product development through stage gate process. Develop selling proposition and launch support material.
Program & Account Management: Drive daily logistics of multiple brand programs; partner with leading retailers and distributors to maximize revenue potential (while maintaining margins), marketing programs, new product launches, and category management.
Market Research & Analysis: Analyze sales volumes, market share trends and competitive activity.
REQUIREMENTS: BS required; MBA Marketing ideal. Seek 5+years of CPG marketing experience. Key skills and traits include strong oral/written communications, strategic thinking, creativity, results-driven, leadership, strong problem solving, and ability to make a difference in an evolving CPG business. Ideal candidates may have started their career with Bayer Healthcare, Beiersdorf, Eli Lily, GlaxoSmithKline, J&J, Kraft, Merck, PepsiCo, P&G, or Unilever and are currently in small to midsize CPG businesses.
REWARD: $130-145,000 plus 23-30% bonus, exceptional benefits, and upside opportunity.
