The Sr. Brand Managers of Planning & Execution at Kimberly-Clark create and execute the Brand Operating Plans, all Commercial Programs, and manage the delivery of annual business objectives for the brand. This position reports directly to the Brand Director, KLEENEX® North America.
Responsibilities: • Drive delivery of business objectives for the brand including net sales, operating profit, gross margin, and market share. • Lead development of Brand Operating Plans • Lead development of all Brand Commercial Programs • Lead development of Annual Operating Plans (point person for entire AOP process) • Act as key marketing contact on cross-functional team interacting regularly with Integrated Marketing Planning, Research & Engineering, Product Supply, Business Analysis, Business Planning, and Marketing Research. • Be key contact for all advertising/integrated marketing agency relationships. • Effectively manage Advertising and Consumer Promotion budget • Lead ad hoc projects as required by the business • Serve as Team Leader for multiple direct reports (including all Performance Management responsibilities)
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field • MBA or Masters degree • 6+ years of related experience including sales or marketing • High familiarity with brand development planning, innovation, and creative ideation processes • Experience leading and managing single and/or multiple marketing teams • Experience with data analysis • Experience working with cross-functional groups • Experience leading and/or supporting complex business negotiations • Motivated by intellectual challenges and curiosity • Must be self-driven, not deadline driven • A demonstrated ability to glean conclusions and insights from complex problems and issues • A demonstrated ability to craft vision and strategy and make it come to life with actionable plans • A demonstrated ability to navigate and perform in ambiguous circumstances
Preferred Qualifications: • Demonstrated success in bringing innovation to market • Experience supporting organizational change • Experience leading/developing employees • Experience coaching and mentoring at the managerial and/or supervisory level • Able to work in a matrix organization driving collaboration across functions, geographies and businesses • Commercial program development • Able to inspire, motivate and lead project teams to achieve outstanding results • History of demonstrated success in the development/execution of brand marketing plans • Demonstrative positive energy to effectively represent brand internally and externally • Strong analytical, decision making, influence, and communication skills • Ability to work independently and complete projects within required timeframes.
