Summary
This position is responsible for developing and leading the innovation strategy and pipeline for RB Food business.
Scope / Dimensions of Role
The position will assume responsibility for the development of the Innovation strategy and new products for Frenchs and Franks Red Hot brands. The focus will be the US market but the pipeline will have potential global roll out. The pipeline will include both NPD and EPD
Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Define the strategy and the priorities for Food Innovation in alignment with VP of Marketing Food
Manages NPD/innovation from consumer insight/concept/product prototype/test plot/P&L to launch recommendation.
Develops a pipeline of products, both NPD and EPD, for key Food brands
Works with brand teams to define the support model for launch
Manages 1 BM Innovation
Contributes to RB Innovation by delivering a product development program to generate consistent sales and profit growth
Conducts analysis and provides updates to management on competitive positions.
Key Challenges
Ability to identify unmet consumer needs and find practical solutions to deliver in line with brand strategy and footprint. Balancing a global pipeline and the needs of the local market. Aligning the local organization to the NPD pipeline by identifying fit with brand strategy, including emerging competitive threats.
Minimum university educated (to Bachelors level) in a commercial subject
4 Years marketing experience, must be able to demonstrate outstanding marketing skills and potential, developed within an CPG environment.
Previous experience in NPD management even if at local level
