Position Summary

Sony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a Senior Associate, Marketing to join The Sony Rewards & Sony Card team The Senior Associate is responsible for the planning, development and execution of marketing programs supporting the Sony Rewards program, with particular emphasis on the relationship and opportunities with Sony Music (SME). The Senior Associate has primary responsibility for developing and building relationships with SME key marketing personnel to understand the SME business needs and to identify areas of shared opportunity with Sony Rewards. Additionally, this position is responsible for the assessment of existing Loyalty and Rewards marketing programs, communications in a liaison type position, and overall program effectiveness.

Working in tandem with the Sony Rewards team and resources within SME, this position will lead the initiatives to design and build Sony Rewards membership and effectively utilize the company's consumer database as a marketing tool in furtherance of the goals of SME and Sony Rewards.

The position requires strong working relations across the Sony businesses, an ability to understand the clients business needs and objectives and a strong rapport with our operational and strategic partners. This position will be located in New York City.

Responsibilities:

  • Relationship development and relationship management between business / marketing units of SME and Sony Rewards
  • Design and development of marketing efforts focused on SME integration and coordination with the Sony Rewards program
  • Coordination with Sony Rewards team and marketing agency to implement marketing programs focused on Loyalty, Rewards and Sony Card acquisition and retention efforts
  • Analysis of acquisition and retention program results for future program adaptation
  • Actively leads regular discussions to establish policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Evaluates and recommends improvement to processes and procedures
  • Meet and exceed defined metrics for member interaction with the program
  • 20% travel required



Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years related marketing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related discipline is required
  • Experience in Marketing and / or Loyalty program is required
  • Demonstrated skills in CRM and / or loyalty marketing are a plus
  • Experience in music industry with focus on consumer marketing is a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to interface with senior level executives
  • Independent, Creative and Conceptual thinker
  • Successful implementation of loyalty program enhancements
  • Must be eligible to work unrestricted in the USA
