With comprehensive upstream and downstream capabilities, ranging from fermentation to natural and semi-synthetic purification, we are focused on capacity, reliability, and quality in taxane API supply to our generic and branded pharmaceutical customers. Phyton services also include development of new API's using taxanes as a starting material; or by combining fermentation, including plant cell or other expression systems, with world class chemical synthesis and other purification methods. We have an opening for a Senior Account Coordinator at our Vancouver , BC location. ** Please reference position title on your resume/application when submitting for consideration ** Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Relationship Management/Client Satisfaction - Serve as the primary liaison between the client and the Operations, Quality, Purchasing and Logistics departments. - Manage and communicate all logistical issues related to the Client's commercial and development services. - Organize and manage client site visits. - Ensure that required planning and technical information is being exchanged appropriately between organizations. - Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. - Serve as the internal client advocate while balancing our requirements and priorities. Depend on the internal support teams to fulfill commitment made to clients without direct reporting relationship. - Ensure that appropriate focus is given to a client situation when there are other key initiatives in progress. Identify key client contacts and input to/maintain CRM system. - Help resolve any significant technical and business issues with client. Financial and Forecast Management - Ensure client's monthly and annual forecasts are posted into the MRP system. - Assist with the development of the annual commercial budgets. - Implement pricing reviews with each client and ensure premiums are captured and communicated to the client based on the manufacturing contract. - Work with finance and purchasing to collect overdue inventory invoices, and in general understand client's financial processes. - Ensure the correct assessment of the overall cost of a new and existing project (cost of production, capital requirements). Prepare and submit product cost quotations on existing business to the client based on the terms of the Supply Agreement. - Understand and implement key milestones identified in the client contracts-pricing, payment terms, term of contract, liability and renewal options etc. - Participate in the negotiation of new client contracts and/or updates existing contracts to reflect actual events. Project Management - Manage projects from develop through commercial production. - Take ownership of manufacturing projects (purchasing or pricing initiatives, task forces) and follow through to completion. - Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the identification and implementation of new projects and initiatives. - Develop action plans for each client in order to optimize service levels and to meet internal company objectives. Within my areas of responsibility, understand and comply with all DFB Pharmaceuticals, Inc. safety, environmental and quality practices and procedures as outlined in organizational/departmental guidelines and SOPs as well as applicable federal, state and local regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor's (BS/BA) degree in Science or Business from a four - year college or university is required. Masters degree in Business Administration is a plus.
