Seasonal Wrangler - Crazy Mountain Ranch

Altria Group Distribution Company's role is to provide sales, distribution and consumer engagement services for Altria's tobacco operating companies. We are currently seeking highly qualified Wranglers to join our Consumer Engagement department at the Crazy Mountain Ranch in Clyde Park, MT. The successful candidate will be a physically active individual, is customer service oriented and has a strong western equestrian background. This position will provide adequate time for training, and familiarity with horses and trails prior to interaction with guests. Specific accountabilities include: Wrangling, grooming, bridling, saddling, guiding guests on trail rides, giving instruction on basic horsemanship, training horses, driving teams, performing barn and tack maintenance, trail maintenance, fencing and general ranch chores Conversing with guests about the horses, Crazy Mountain Ranch, and local flora and fauna Always being safety conscientious as safety is the first priority at the ranch Having the opportunity for certification as Seasonal Equestrian Staff, after being trained by the staff Expected to work 8-10 hours per day from May until early OctoberQualifications Include: High School Diploma and/or Trade School Diploma Minimum of three years of experience with previous agricultural or dude ranch backgrounds Team player and demonstrates good communication, interpersonal and collaborative leadership skills Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs and get on and off a horse with ease Must possess a valid driver's license and be 21 years of age or older Wranglers maybe eligible for free room and board while working on the ranch At Altria Group Distribution Company, we recognize that our people are the reason we achieve our business goals.
