Sales Specialist, ExpertConnect Storage

The ExpertConnect Storage Sales Specialist is technical sales role for Zones storage solutions. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with strong technical and solution sales expertise. This successful individual will be responsible for working with customers and sales Account Executives to craft storage related sales and close opportunities in which they are directly involved.
The Specialists works directly with Zones customer base to craft storage solutions that meet the clients needs and enhance Zones profitability. The Specialist works closely with sales Account Executives to represents a particular storage related brand(s)/partner. They are responsible for closing sales opportunities for their particular brand(s).
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 3 years sales experience
Deep expertise in storage strategies, technologies and pricing
Broad knowledge of all storage technology providers and their offerings
Deep certifications, both technical and sales, on specific IBM brand storage categories.
Strong customer service skills and commitment to meet or exceed customer requirements
Excellent organization skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet aggressive deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to negotiate, influence and persuade
Ability to create profitable, in-depth technical recommendations for clients
Analytical with excellent problem-solving skill
Ability to pass any training or certification requirements.
Ability to work with little or no supervision
Light travel may be required.
College degree required.
