You will be joining an elite team driving growth in the Enterprise space with exposure to the largest banks. This role is customer focused, delivering software solutions to enable our clients to automate and manage information across the enterprise for both real-time, end of day, referential, settlement instructions, counterparty and corporate actions.
Job Responsibilities:
* Meet the set sales targets for Enterprise Data Management in Japan. * Work closely with Thomson Reuters customers and support teams to ensure a thorough understanding of client requirements. * Produce impactful presentations aligned with client specific requirements leveraging Thomson Reuters complete set of assets. * Work with Account Managers and the Enterprise team to develop evaluations and convert to customer wins. * Develop and maintain senior/management level client relationships. * Work with the Marketing and Product Management teams to enhance existing client solutions. * Take responsibility for client meetings including RFP's/RFI's with the objective of winning new business. * Provide feedback to the Strategic Business Units to enhance, improve and enrich Thomson Reuters offering in this space.
Qualifications
Required Competencies:
Sales
* Proven sales track record in selling complex, software solutions in this area of data management solutions. * Ability to understand customer's business drivers and develop an effective selling strategy. * Ability to clearly articulate and demonstrate leading technology products/ solutions that best meet customer requirements. * Highly ambitious with a desire to be a trusted advisor to the world's biggest players requiring enterprise data management solutions. * Ability to prepare and present professional proposals. * Creativity in creating customer demand based on innovative Enterprise solutions into new markets. * Strong knowledge of client focused sales techniques including but not limited to TAS and SPIN. * Domain expertise in the financial markets and technology solutions for trading and data management.
Other Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years sales experience required * At least 5 years of relevant experience required * Strong knowledge of the financial industry, including different asset classes, data types, trading and operational processes required * Working knowledge of various commercial data packages (Reuters, Bloomberg, Markit, etc.) required * Experience writing RFIs/RFPs required * Working knowledge in data management and modeling required * Working knowledge of various operating platforms (Linux, Solaris, Windows) preferred * Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts preferred * Working knowledge of Global security rules and regulations governing financial markets preferred * Experience working trade shows preferred * Experience writing research papers and marketing collateral preferred * Good Japanese communication skills are required. Good command of English business communication is an additional advantage. * Travel is required
