Responsibilities As a successful Sales Manager candidate, you have a minimum of three years experience leading an outbound telephone sales team in a solution-selling environment. Reporting to the General Sales Manager, your leadership role will focus on assessment and development of team leads and sales reps, accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management as well as a commitment to meeting and exceeding sales targets and objectives.
Requirements
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Sales Manager has the sole responsibility for leading the sales team in the generation of new business through outbound telephone sales.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be a selling manager leading your team by example
Use and maintain a computerized contact management database for a specific sales territory
Maintain an up to date accounting of your team's sales pipeline
Assign new leads and customers to your team on a regular basis
Complete understanding and thorough knowledge of your team's account database and account activity
Provide continuous training and foster the improvement of your team's selling skills
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Solid track record selling solutions and leading team by example
Minimum three years experience managing consultative, inside sales teams
Previous experience with solution based, inside telephone sales
Proven track record of achieving quota based objectives
Strong leadership and motivational skills
Experience within the not-for-profit sector a definite asset but not a pre-requisite
Excellent time management skills
Excellent communication (both written and oral) and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Completion of post-secondary education and prior experience working with non-profit organizations a plus
