Canon Communications LLC is a leading event (trade show) producer and media company serving advanced, technology-based manufacturing industries, including medical device, pharmaceutical, packaging, broad-based design and manufacturing, electronics, and processing.

The Sales Executive is responsible for selling exhibit space in Canon trade shows to existing, new and prospective accounts, in a defined sales territory through a combination of telesales, show/event coverage, and personal calls.

Requirements:

Applicants should have the following attributes:


  • A strong sales background, with experience in event (trade show) sales a plus
  • Demonstrated sales and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in basic PC programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and contact management software
  • A great attitude, professional communication skills, and a desire to succeed
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team-oriented environment with a high rate of deadlines
  • Strong sense of urgency regarding communication matters and sales deadlines along with a proactive approach to the job
  • Ability to write business correspondence
  • Ability to travel domestically for occasional trade shows and personal sales calls
