OVERVIEW: Promote and market genuine/approved Suzuki parts and accessories by product line for Motorcycle's, ATV's, Marine and Auto in line with SCI objectives. Maintain Inventory Control of Motorcycle, ATV, Marine and Auto parts & accessories. Monitor and evaluate dealer sales against objectives. Assist in improving dealer parts & accessory activities. Design, develop and co-ordinate special programs. Answer parts and accessory related questions from DPSM, DSM and customer service. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE: This position reports directly to both the Vice President, Sales & Marketing - Auto and General Manager, Sales & Marketing - MAM. This position has one (1) direct report - Assistant Coordinator, Auto Accessories. SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES (not listed in priority): Sales: Maintain daily operation of the Auto & MAM parts & accessories product line. Maintain constant & profitable expansion of parts & accessory business. Assist in establishing profit and sales potential for each product. Provide sales results of product line and dealer purchases versus SCI objectives. Evaluate dealer parts & accessories sales results against units, other Dealers, the Territories/Regions and National numbers. Evaluate dealer parts & accessories sales results against units, zone and national regions. Design and administer programs that will increase unit parts & accessory sales. Design special offers to dealers offering overstocked or new parts & accessories in order to generate sales. Introduce and provide training of new products to DPSM/DSM. Report status of new item development to Direct Manager and Dotted Line Managers on a regular basis. Present all pertinent information for new product approval (i.e. vendor detail, references, pricing, terms, duties, special discounts or incentives, warranty, insurance, licenses or permits, confirmation of compliance to government regulations, NAFTA, vendor contract, labels, instructions, drawings, final samples, translations, etc.) to National Manager, VP, Sales & Marketing - Auto and GM, Sales & Marketing - MAM prior to PAR submission. Marketing: Coordinate the Parts & Accessory (Auto & MAM) Pre-Season Booking Programs. Coordinate with Auto & MAM on marketing initiatives. Design and co-ordinate production of dealer catalogues, brochures and POS material. Develop and release periodic promotions to DPSM/DSM. Attend dealer conferences/consumer shows/demo rides when required. Set-up displays at consumer shows & dealer conventions. Co-ordinate parts & accessory promotions through DPSM/DSM at various events. Monitor competition for product pricing, product opportunities and report back on same. Maintain accurate information on public website, also through bulletins posted on Suzuki Vision for dealer reference. Continue update of website with current products. Review Corporate Clothing, specifically recreational targeted items and maintain new designs. Field Staff/Customer Service Maintain communication with DPSM/DSM/Customer Service to gain their input for product improvements, additions and sales opportunities. Investigate, follow up and resolve DPSM/DSM/Customer Service concerns or complaints reported to SCI in a timely manner. Provide SCI staff with necessary information and materials needed to maintain a good level of customer service (e.g. product application list, flat rate times, price lists, bulletins, replacement part numbers, vendor direct warranties, etc.) Special Projects: Assist Department Managers when required. Attend various beneficial trade and consumer shows as required. Assist with critical duties when parts & accessories department staff are absent. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS Minimum College/University education. Minimum 10 years Auto Industry experience. Related retail experience an asset. Minimum 5 years managerial experience. Computer skills - Advanced MS Office, Outlook, working knowledge of Photoshop.
