Major Purpose of Job:
To retain Nasdaq Listed companies by selling value-added consultative services on all aspects of the issuers’ relationship with Nasdaq. Incumbent must be able to penetrate the highest level of executive management (CEO, CFO) and board members.
Essential Job Functions:
The Director will consult with issuers and sell value-added service to enhance issuer retention. Such consultation includes analyzing and interpreting market transactions and performance data, introducing and promoting Nasdaq products and services, educating issuers on Nasdaq visibility.
Establishes and maintains relationships with senior officers (CFO, Investor Relations, President, CEO, Board of Directors). Identifies issuer needs accurately and quickly, resolves problems, and answers questions on trading performance, investor relations, competitive intelligence, corporate governance and marketplace regulations.
Consult, advise, position and sell value added investor relations, corporate communications, risk management, and board products to Nasdaq issuers.
Uses such relationships to influence listing decision and penetrate board and key decision makers at the account.
Demonstrates to issuers the advantages of Nasdaq and its unique products and services through face-to-face presentations and phone conversations.
Responsible for quarterly Sales targets and pipeline management.
Attends and organizes professional meetings, seminars, and industry conferences to improve knowledge and strengthen relationships with issuers.
Works with Business Development directors to attract listing to Nasdaq.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, or marketing / sales (MBA/CFA preferred) or equivalent experience.
Proficiency with spreadsheet presentation, database and word processing software required.
SPIN selling training and experience preferred
10 years of direct selling experience required
SIGNIFICANT TRAVEL REQUIRED.
