Job Description
Our client is a leading global provider of facilities management solutions such as electronic locks, in-room safes, and energy management systems to the hospitality, corporate, education, government, and marine markets. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and experienced top sales performer to join our North American organization as Regional Sales Manager. This seasoned professional will be responsible for our client’s commercial market sales in the midwest United States and will report to the National Commercial Sales Manager.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for planning, managing, and leading our Channel Partner reseller network in assigned region to deliver sales objectives and execute go-to-market strategy that drives sustainable revenue generation, growth, and profitability.
Responsibilities
Drive channel sales activity and sell through to exceed monthly revenue objectives and achieve growth targets
Manage growth, development, and expansion of our clients channel partner network and increase market share within end-user customers in assigned territory
Provide leadership, support, and guidance to channel partners to strengthen brand awareness, increase mindshare, and proactively drive sales of solutions
Actively target, develop, maintain, and close funnel of sales opportunities and prospective channel partners
Serve our clients customers and reseller network as the regional subject matter expert and solutions consultant in the security and access control systems industry.
Provide product knowledge and sales training to authorized channel partners to promote solutions and drive sales across all commercial markets.
Document all sales activity through customer relationship management system.
Provide timely and accurate reports to corporate management including weekly activity report, opportunity pipeline, forecast, and other reports as necessary
Maintain travel and entertainment expenses within assigned operating budget and in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required (MBA is a plus)
Minimum of 5 years sales experience (blend of direct sales and channel sales experience is ideal)
Prior consultative sales experience in the security and access control solutions industry is preferred
Motivated results-oriented individual with proven track record as a top performing “All Star” closer with demonstrated ability to drive results
Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong territory management and time management skills
Can Lead, Manage, Develop, Influence, and Mentor effectively.
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office applications
Working knowledge of CRM systems for pipeline and opportunity management
Ability and availability to travel up to 75% is required.
