Regional Sales Manager (Northeast)
TO APPLY: Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will market software products and services to the healthcare community (includes institutional, professional and allied health specialties), develop new client base within designated territory and/or specially designated assignments, and work with internal and external contacts to achieve sales goals. Must work successfully independently and as part of a professional team.
Duties
Identify and close new/existing account opportunities within your territory
Participate in contract negotiations
Identify and solve sales problems, as well as, inform the organization of changing market conditions and competitive issues
Coordinate activities with vendor partners and Zynx Client Managers
Lead meetings and present information to C-suite executives, clinicians and other hospital personnel
Provide all necessary reporting to Director of Sales, Western Region (weekly forecasting, etc) and Time and Attendance reporting to HR (for interns)
Conduct onsite visits for sales deals, as necessary
Carry out initiatives within the Sales Team as directed by the VP of Sales and Business Development and the Director of Sales, Western Region
Execute all projects, initiatives, and opportunities with vendor partners or other affiliated organizations as assigned by VP of Sales and Business Development, Director of Sales, Western Region, or other members of Executive team
Take on leadership role for internal initiatives such as Business Reviews, Performance
Managing the intern/lead generation program (including training, attendance reporting, daily direction)
Participate in Operational or Special Projects as requested
Requirements
BS/BA required. Degree in a medical field (Nursing, Medical Technology, Pre-med) a plus
Sales Managers must have a minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable quota performance
Experience in Healthcare IT sales is strongly preferred, preferably in software
Experience in consultative solution sales or marketing
Experience using CRM software
Comfortable with cold calling and other targeted prospecting activities
Comfortable understanding and communicating technical and clinical concepts
Highly motivated self-starters with excellent oral and written communication skills
Formal presentation skills before small and large groups
Demonstrated problem solving ability and negotiation skills (with special emphasis on closing sales)
Consistent follow-through and time management skills
