Major Job Duties Include:
*This position may entail variable length temporary assignments at customer locations and periodic extended travel. Main task is to manage quality aspects between North American customers and Bosch facilities worldwide.
*Interface with customers on quality topics, during acquisition phase, at launch, through series production, for 0-Km and field issues.
*Support readiness activities for specific products.
*Provide extended on-site support at customer sites during series production as well as during launches.
*Provide details and analysis of customers concerns to production and engineering.
*Support customer and internal quality initiatives.
*Initiate and support investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions.
*Coordinate clean points at customer.
*Prepare and present presentations on issue status and, or assignments.
*Coordinate the communication of issues (root cause, corrective action and implementation dates) to customer and management.
*Track issues and issue resolution, report status and facilitate closure.
*Prepare and provide information on quality levels, to the customer and internally.
*Build relationships with key customer personnel to cultivate partnerships Support key World Wide customers, key customer locations, for CR diesel products, (full spectrum, including electronic).
*Provide resident quality engineer services for the Southern Indiana, Northern Kentucky, South East Ohio regions, servicing multiple customers at multiple sites.

Minimum Job Requirements Include:
*Possess a Bachelors of Science in a technical field with hands-on automotive experience.
*3+ years experience in the automotive industry with solid understanding of diesel engine fuel and related systems.
*Experience in the manufacturing area.
*Candidate has previously demonstrated strong communication and organization skills.

Desired:
*Multi-lingual with electrical and electronic systems knowledge and experience.
*Literacy in technical German considered a plus.
*Past extensive experience with APQP documentation and OEM customers.
