McFaddens Marketing Internship Opportunity Qualifications: -Must be Enrolled at an Accredited University, Full or Part-time (Preferably Drexel, UPenn, Villanova, Widener, St. Joes, La Salle) -Able to receive credits for this internship -Pursuing degree in Marketing, Business Management, Public Relations, Restaurant Management or other related major Computer expertise in Microsoft Word & Excel (Efficient with Photoshop & Dreamweaver a plus but not needed) -Creative Thinking, Teamwork, & Organizational Skills -Outgoing, Honest, & Self-Motivated -Knowledge of upcoming social events on campus or in the area Hours required: 10-20 hours during the week/weekend Availability: Fall 2010 Pay: Earned Credits, Free Bartending Training, and other comps at Managements Discretion Responsibilities/Tasks: -Learn & understand bar/restaurant management and promotions -Brainstorm and create ideas for future events & theme nights -Plan/prepare/attend events using the Shuttle Bus Service -Distribute promotional materials throughout campus buildings, apartments, dorms, fraternities, sororities, and other surrounding off-campus places -Create a buzz around campus of future events and shuttle nights -Update and maintain social networking websites -Update and maintain customer contact lists -Collect information on customers -Organize promotional files and items -Gain valuable experience and network in the industry -And HAVE AN AWESOME TIME!
