We are looking for a passionate PR person ready to join our internal communications department in this exciting recreational industry. The PR Manager is responsible for developing and executing PR efforts around several NMMA boat shows, plus assisting with the national Discover Boating campaign in the spring and summer months. Strategy development, plus strong media relations and writing skills are a must, as well as being able to oversee (and work closely with) outside PR consultants. In this position, you will report to the Assistant Communications Director, while acting as day-to-day PR contact for several boat show teams. As a result, the PR Manager must be a self-starter who can work well independently, but also thrive as part of a team.
