Public Relations Manager
Gas Station TV is looking for a Public Relations Manager to solidify GSTV as an innovative leader in the advertising, marketing, television, and media communities.
Requirements:
The PR Manager will lead all public relations, advertising, and promotional activities including:
o Setting strategies and developing PR plans to meet GSTV objectives based on a complete understanding of the marketplace o External liaison to the press and other marketing partners o Work closely with internal sales team, creative, research, marketing, and sales operations for planning, strategy and sales package development to drive corporate revenue o Writing press communications and pitching stories to local and national media o Sourcing and securing interviews and speaking opportunities o Creating press and assist in the creation of marketing materials o Assist with marketing initiatives including outbound email campaigns for sales executives o Manage website and social media site updates o Organize company outings, parties, and events
Qualifications and Experience:
o 3-5+ years of experience. Media related preferred o Bachelors Degree – Marketing / Public Relations focus preferred o Strategic thought leader o Media relations – Both local and national o Public relations and marketing strategy development and execution experience o Excellent written and oral skills o Experience with social media o Excels in team environment o Proficient with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) o Excellent computer skills – Apple/Mac experience a plus o Event planning experience a plus
