REPORTS TO: Programming Manager, New Media
SUPERVISES: None
PURPOSE: This position manages and traffics E!, Style, G4 content to Video On Demand, authenticated streaming and download to own partners, plus handles additional responsibilities for shortform new media content. NOTE: This is a Sat.-Wed. workweek, with Thursday and Fridays off as a "weekend." Hours are 2-11pm.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and traffic full episodes from the E!, Style and G4 networks to authenticated streaming and various partner sites by scheduling content, working with external partners, preparing metadata, ensuring delivery and more. - Schedule, manage and traffic E!, Style and G4 content for Video On Demand partners. - Write, edit text and metadata and publish shortform content appearing on internal sites for E!, Style and G4 as well as numerous external partner sites, focusing on news content which requires a quick turnaround. - Assist in daily publishing of other content, including full episodes to select partners such as iTunes, Zune, Verizon VCast and more. - Serve as a liaison between New Media Programming team and various Production teams which supply content to traffic to all partners as needed. - This is a Saturday-Wednesday workweek, with Thursday and Fridays off as a "weekend." The hours of this position are 2-11pm. - Additional tasks as assigned.
