Do you have a burning desire to work on one of the most important pieces of software for Windows Internet Explorer? This is an opportunity to be part of a highly motivated team of marketing professionals charged with shaping the foundational long-term strategy for Internet Explorer. As the senior marketing communications manager responsible for worldwide strategy and alignment, you will drive best-in-class, multi-channel integrated global marketing strategies into subsidiaries that result in positive achievement against IE marketing objectives and scorecard metrics. This role combines clear business and market understanding with creative marketing plan development to drive key market investments forward.

Core Responsibilities:
1) Business planning: Act as a strategic leader in providing marcom planning expertise and impact
a. Lead fiscal year budget planning, allocation and cascade process, including working with marcom leads to ensure timely forecasting and accruals
b. Lead global marcom planning with field teams to ensure that great plans are in place for the key initiatives (based on playbook)
c. Put in place a rhythm to ensure clear vision and mission
2) Field engagement: Working with global and corp C+O / marcom leads, strategically review plans and recommend best practices
a. Establish an appropriate communications cadence/rhythm to ensure the subsidiary POV is represented in key decisions and strategy development at corp
b. Ensure critical marcom issues are surfaced and escalated to appropriate forums for clear resolution
3) Playbook execution and reporting: Working with corp C+O, track global marcom campaigns, activities, calendar, and expected results
a. Lead alignment and adoption of playbook and strategic programs to drive IE usage and perception
b. Determine optimal communications cadence
c. Review campaign results and participate in analysis of campaign performance and development of recommendations for optimization and future enhancements
d. Deliver insights that inform optimization of campaigns on a global scale and drive efficient an defective delivery of campaign goals across markets
e. Provide marcom guidance and direction to global C+O and marcom leads based on business strategy, product disclosure, and lessons learned/feedback from subsidiaries
4) Marketing leadership: Understand and manage the consumer marketing strategic elements that pertain to top priority marketing including processes for landing campaigns and activities in market
a. Focus on increasing clarity and consistency of IE consumer marketing worldwide
b. Work with subsidiaries to plan and execute integrated campaign plans, including opportunity analysis, customer segmentation, across various vehicle and media channels:
i. Direct/relationship marketing
ii. Online/digital marketing
iii. Emerging media
iv. Global advertising
c. Working with key IE corp stakeholders, build and manage asset localization process and rollout, including field input early on in the asset development process

Requirements;
- 7-10 years product marketing, digital marketing or field marketing experience, preferably in the consumer space, including successful launch of a major product release
- BA/BS require, MBA preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft field and/or international marketing expertise is essential
- Strong track record of strategic marketing and campaign execution experience, including a practical understanding of common issues
- Must demonstrate initiative and a willingness to roll up their sleeves to make things happen
- Excellent analysis and problem solving skills
- An ability to work effectively in high pressure/fast paced environment while communicating clearly and directly with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong partnering and cross-boundary collaboration skills
- Solid organizational and process development skills
