Product Marketing Manager, Financial Services
Our client, a financial services, and Life Insurance provider located in Downtown LA have an immediate need for a Marketing Manager. This is an immediate direct hire role.
This position will be responsible for driving product and concept plans and contributing to the overall product and concept marketing strategy. This role will report to the Senior Marketing Manager of Product and Concept Marketing and work in collaboration with the Product and Concepts, Product Development, Advanced Marketing, Creative and Promotion teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead collaborations with various teams to develop relevant and timely marketing messages for translation into on-target collateral that market our products in context with applicable strategies
• Collaborate with the creative and promotions teams to ensure that content is effectively communicated in sales and marketing tools, including product collateral, presentations, and programs
• Provide marketing support to multiple distribution channels by aligning plans and materials for relevant audiences
• Craft marketable case studies / sample scenarios that promote both products and concepts
• Develop creative briefs and summaries to guide Creative and Promotion teams
• Contribute to on-line and e-marketing strategy for product and concepts including website content, e-mail campaigns, e-books, etc.
• Conduct research and analysis to support positioning of products and strategies and support development of comprehensive competitive analysis
• Provide strategic and tactical support to manage product and concept activity from product and concept launches to ongoing drip marketing
• Ensure consistency of messaging and strategy throughout all collateral
REQUIRED SKILLS and EDUCATION:
• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• 5-7 years of marketing experience, preferably in the financial services industry
• Ability to think both strategically and tactically with excellent business acumen and problem-solving skills; Strong analytical skills
• Superior writing, interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong project management skills
• Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently
• Strong computer literacy
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and timelines
• Ability to interact with and influence many different personalities
• Initiative and willingness to take on the leadership role in various team settings
• Previous experience in life insurance industry and/or financial planning
