Job Summary We need your passion and expertise for positioning products in a way that excites new and existing customers. As our Product Marketing Manager, you will drive projects that significantly impact Commission Junction and the overall advertising industry.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Our Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for the marketing activities of our products and services. In this role, you will develop marketing strategies, product positioning and messaging to differentiate us in the marketplace. You'll spend most of your time: * Developing key product marketing messages and positioning catering to customer needs, market trends and the competitive landscape in the rapidly evolving advertising industry * Developing communications around product features and functionality based on product capabilities * Documenting how product features and functionality drive customer business needs * Preparing high quality customer-facing product marketing collateral such as product data sheets, features-benefits documents, white papers, etc. * Preparing presentations and product demonstrations that highlight the product capabilities in a compelling manner * Interactively working with Product, Engineering, Sales, Client Development, as well as our customers to assist in determining new requirements * Aggressively influencing and understanding all industry standards and trends related to new initiatives * Evangelizing the product line in customer and industry meetings
Required Education and Experience * Demonstrated ability to develop and lead multi-functional teams in the execution of product marketing and product launch plans * Strong business-to-business product marketing experience in all phases of bringing new products and features to market, from conception to launch and on-going improvement/iteration * Exceptional communications skills, including inter-personal, writing, and speaking * Ability to concisely summarize complex issues in clear, compelling communications * Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical skills * Ability to work effectively, knowledgeably and collaboratively with a wide range of internal company functions * Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution * A hunger to learn and ability to flourish in a dynamic, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment * BA/BS, MBA preferred
