Product Manager
Our client, a leader in luxury automotive brands, seeks a dynamic Product Planning Manager for North America. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in developing business plans and strategies for the introduction of new products in the US market. This position serves as the lead on product planning for all models in the US.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure automotive cycle plan is compliant with Green House Gas legislation
Represent the US voice of market in global product planning discussions
Provide a lead on future volume planning assumptions for the US
Manage pricing of all brand models
Liaise with marketing on introduction of new models and derivatives to ensure model information is correct, including information submitted in marketing materials and handbooks
Manage the life cycle of the current car lines effectively and maximize contribution margin per vehicle
Manage the team of brand managers
Experience required:
7 - 10 years automotive experience required, including 3-5 years experience in Product Planning
Automotive marketing experience preferred
Excellent understanding and experience of business and finance planning
Management and leadership experience
Ability to negotiate and influence at the highest level of an organization
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Excellent Microsoft Office skills
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline required
