Product Manager, Lead
The Product Manager Lead - Display Cases works with teams to develop and lead strategic product roadmaps for current and future display case products; implement and launch new products into the market. Leverage best practices and encourage team-building and working relationships within and across the organization. Manage the product line share data. Develop industry-leading marketing/sales value proposition messages and work with marketing communications to create support materials to assist selling of the product line.
uties include, but are not limited to:
Product Development
Develops strategic product roadmaps and business cases
Lead product development teams throughout the project (business case launch) ensuring timeline and financial expectations are met
Product Line Management
Manage the product line revenue and margin and develop lifecycle strategy
Researches, analyzes and sets pricing levels for products
Resolve customer problems working in conjunction with other functions
Prioritize and determine which projects to invest resources in to execute the strategy
Market Positioning and Value Proposition
Understand, validate and communicate product value proposition to customers
Develop marketing/sales messages and support materials to assist selling of the product line
Market Research
Analyze data and define overall product strategy.
Interact with customers, sales, and industry resources to stay in tune with the current market, the competition, new trends, and changing regulations.
Works to understand what drive customer decision-making in product selection.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and a minimum 8 years relevant experience.
Technical/product engineering experience is preferred.
Industry experience in supermarket display case merchandisers, equipment merchandisers, or other related industry equipment
Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Strong understanding of approaches to assessing and improving the customer value proposition.
Strong marketing knowledge including branding, product life-cycle, competitive positioning and communications.
