Infosys Consulting’s Product Innovation practice assists clients to improve product lifecycle processes, increase Research & Development efficiency and more effectively bring products to market.  We also help clients better manage their master data, providing the foundation to realize improvements from other business and system initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

Principal:

• Lead engagements – collaborates with Partners and Sr. Principals to develop and implement strategies and plans for strategic transformation of client operations


• Develop diagnostics, strategies, road maps, and business cases for small- to medium-scale business transformations


• Lead business process improvement using business consulting tools and methodologies


• Work with cross-functional client teams to perform gap analysis and identify improvement options


• Create detailed action plans that include organizational change management, resource planning, and competitive strategies


• Implement product lifecycle improvements through the use of leading PLM software technology


• Manage external competitive benchmarking and analysis


• Oversee development of business cases, ROI calculation, and capital budgets development


• Capture best practices and add to firm’s knowledge management initiatives


• Supervise more junior staff

Qualities, Experience, and Skills

• Previous consulting experience is required, preferably Big 4 and/or traditional strategy firm


• Product lifecycle management, new product development, or product engineering experience required


• Experience with PLM tools (Agile, SAP PLM, Dassault, Gerber, Siemens UGS, PTC) a plus


• Experience required in large scale strategic PLM programs and projects, typically business functional role


• Ability to adapt and succeed in an ambiguous and changing environment


• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills - executive presence


• Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team, with the flexibility to work across multiple time zones when necessary


• Well versed in working with clients – solving client issues and developing business strategies around people, process, data and technology 


• Experience in one or more of the following industries – high tech, consumer goods, aerospace, automotive, industrial products, telecom equipment, medical devices


• Experience with engagements that focus on strategy, operations strategy or process optimization


• Six Sigma certification, PMP certification experience a plus


• Bachelor’s degree is required, MBA preferred


• Willingness to travel 4 days a week
