Product Marketing Manager
BIOMET 3i is a leading manufacturer of dental implants, abutments and related products. This position is a part of our Global Product Marketing organization and will analyze, plan strategy, and manage the (Product Group) portfolio to meet required financial objectives. The Product Marketing Manager owns revenue demand and EBITDA targets (P&L) and directs global demand strategies and tactics. He/She directs the new product opportunity funnel, actively participates on NPI core teams and manages product lifecycles in the portfolio.
Key Duties
Develop annual revenue and expense budget; develop annual marketing plan identifying key strategies and tactics to deliver on financial objectives
Assess business performance monthly, quarterly and annually. Identify gaps and develop strategies and plans to capture market opportunities. Identify KPI’s and utilize as mechanism to monitor brand performance. Report out to MOR monthly.
Researches, analyzes, monitors and reports (quarterly) competitive activity, technological, clinical, procedural and market trends worldwide in order to create “first to market” opportunities and identify portfolio gaps for the Company.
Conducts regular portfolio review sessions with Global Regional Leadership Team to ensure appropriate global input is obtained. Some global travel is required.
Commissions’ market research as necessary to investigate and validate customer needs, positioning concepts and focus group to ascertain VOC.
Participates in or leads multiple NPI core teams to ensure that the teams have strategic focus, make informed decisions and deliver value-added, innovative products that answer customer’s needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or sciences with three to five years related experience and/or training; or possess the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Master’s degree or M.B.A. preferred. Multiple language fluency is helpful.
Experience in developing and implementing yearly business plans that include defining market share goals, financial (ROI) objectives, product life cycle planning and development of strategies and tactics.
Excellent organizational, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Extensive knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
