Job Description: Foot Levelers, Inc., an outstanding 57 year old Icon in the Chiropractic community headquartered in Roanoke, VA, has an opening for an energetic and qualified Public Relations Specialist. In this role, the PR Specialist is responsible for all aspects of PR strategy, building strong relationships within the Chiropractic community, and initiating, coordinating, and nurturing activities that promote a positive image of Foot Levelers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Write and submit press releases, announcements, and articles in chiropractic and consumer publications, websites, and other media outlets.
Develop and maintain working rapports with editors and other contacts.
Maintain databases for contacts and media hits.
Facilitate the development and coordination of the overall company PR strategy.
Conduct research for programs and projects.
Evaluate and develop metrics and dashboards to assess the effectiveness of company PR efforts and tactics.
Travel to conventions and seminars as needed.
Job Requirements:
3-5 years of previous experience in a similar position.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office experience.
Exceptional leadership skills and abilities.
Proven performance in a similar role.
High energy, energy transfer, passion, and motivation.
Ability to travel.
