PI COE BI Sales Reporting Lead Specialist Job
Description
This Project Lead position is responsible for supporting PI Support Center Sales staff with primary focus on the Wal-mart team and other key global customers. This position will be responsible for the ownership of a Micro Strategy reporting solution which includes working with the Sales department to proactively identify new requirements and solutions. The position will also support the Customer Data Collection application for the key global customers. The chosen candidate will serve as a technical advisor and leader to support projects of large scope. The candidate should have a solid history of production support, vendor management, and client s position will work with counterparts in PepsiCo International's business and I/T areas to accomplish the following: - Resolve complex technological problems - Lead all project activities - Develop and integrate project plans - Confidently communicate team direction and goals - Develop an in-depth understanding of the PepsiCo International sales function with an emphasis on Wal-mart sales data
Requirements:
Experience - 4 year college degree + 6 years working in an I/T Business Intelligence role - Prior experience with Micro Strategy development and administration - Prior experience with Sales Tracking systems. - Prior experience with Business Objects a plus. - Project Methodology /System Development Life Cycle experience - Analytical & problem solving skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Sense of urgency and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment - Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to interact effectively with all levels and functions of a geographically dispersed team - Results oriented, able to complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner and ability to juggle multiple priorities
