We have an opening for a Full Time board certified family practice Physician to work at our state-of-the-art employer health & wellness center, The Center for Living Well, located at Walt Disney World ® near Orlando, Florida!

Physicians at the Center work in a team-based environment and serve as clinical leaders who focus on providing the highest quality of care for all patients. At the Center for Living Well the physician has every opportunity to concentrate on the practice of medicine while a highly skilled management team takes care of the rest. The Center is only open to full time Disney Cast members and their dependents and provides the full spectrum of primary care services with an emphasis on disease prevention and holistic condition management of those in a chronic disease state. This position will allow you to work in a patient-centric environment utilizing both clinical and technological best practices in medicine. This Center for Living Well is a modern facility equipped with a full service pharmacy, high resolution digital radiology, a team of health coach nurses serving the needs of patients as it relates to lifestyle and chronic condition support, on-site behavioral health (staffed with both psychologists and psychiatrists), Insurance company advocates, and a laboratory collection site with electronic data exchange back into our Electronic Medical Record.
The Center for Living Well is open every day of the week. This position will have a 7am start time when working Monday-Friday with weekend and holiday rotations working 9am-5pm. Essential Functions: • Provides episodic, preventive, and acute health care to patients.
• Conducts histories and physical examinations and prescribes medications and/or medical treatments based on best practice standards
• Develops treatment plans in collaboration with patients; educates and advises on medical issues as needed
• Provides referrals both internally and externally to appropriate medical resource or specialty
• Evaluates the effectiveness of medical care and monitors progress of patients
• Identifies emergency situations and provides care within legal scope of practice and as defined by Take Care Health privileging process
• Participates in the development of annual health center goals and objectives
• Maintains medical records using Electronic Medical Record software
• May formulate and administer health programs as needed
• Other duties as assigned
• This job has no regular supervisory responsibilities

Requirements • Graduate of an accredited medical school required • Minimum three years of post-residency clinical experience required • Experience in a primary care, urgent care or emergency room setting • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Florida • Must be Board Certified in Family Practice • Must have current state and federal DEA certification • Current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required • Knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet and Word Processing software • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred • The ability to speak Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Vietnamese is desired. • Excellent clinical skills with a customer service focus.
