Pediatric Program Coordinator Department: Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics Schedule: Part time Shift: Shift varies Hours: Job Details: Summary of Job Duties The Pediatric Program Coordinator (PPC) provides ongoing coordination of the pediatric services provided Throughout the hospital.
Qualifications & Requirements Ability to handle stressful situations and respond appropriately Ability to interpret policies and procedures, make generalizations, evaluations or decisions based on sensory, judgmental, measurable or verifiable criteria Ability to organize and prioritize workload in order to meet deadlines Baccalaureate Degree of Nursing is required Communicates and works effectively with people Current California RN license Demonstrates leadership skills Exhibits knowledge of pediatrics principles of learning Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Minimum of two years work experience in a Pediatric nursing position in a health care setting PALS Certification Works well with others in a team-orientated environment, including support of other co-workers' job duties in a manner that further advances the goals and objectives of the whole program
